CUET (UG) 2026 key dates

Every dated window the NTA bulletin published for the 2026 cycle, the four stages it left undated, and what has already passed.

The CUET (UG) 2026 bulletin dates four stages and leaves four undated. Applications ran 3-30 January 2026, up to 11.50 PM, the fee had to clear by 31 January 2026, up to 11.50 PM, corrections were open 2-4 February 2026, up to 11.50 PM, and the exam window was 11-31 May 2026 (tentative) — tentative in the bulletin's own words. Against the exam city announcement, the admit card, the answer keys and the result it prints only that they will be announced later on https://cuet.nta.nic.in. The 2026 result in fact came on 23 June 2026.

What is over and what is still open

Every dated window in the bulletin has now passed. If you are reading this while preparing for the next cycle, use these dates as the shape of a year, not as your own deadlines — the next cycle's bulletin will carry its own, and until it exists nobody has them.

Four items carry no date at all. For those the bulletin says only that they will be announced later on the official website.

The only website named for all of this is https://cuet.nta.nic.in. The same stages, as a live view of where the cycle stands, are on the exam timeline.

Two details are worth reading off the table. The fee deadline falls after the form window closes, so a form filled on the last day could still be paid for the next day. And the exam window is marked tentative in the bulletin itself.

What actually happened after the bulletin

Three of the four undated stages have since been dated by NTA's own notices, which is the only way they ever get dated:

StageDateSource
Provisional answer key displayed9 June 2026NTA public notice
Final answer key23 June 2026NTA public notice
Result / NTA scores declared23 June 2026NTA public notice

Each of those notices is cited in full on updates.

What the bulletin does not tell you

It sets no date for the exam city announcement or the admit card, and it does not commit to firm exam dates — only a tentative range. It carries no university's admission calendar either, because each university declares its own counselling and admission schedule, and its own merit list, after NTA declares the result. For each of these the official website is the single source, and nothing on this page should be read as a prediction.

The fee table, the payment rules and the four steps of the form have their own page: form, uploads and fees.

What this page does not say

  • Dates NTA has not printed. The exam-city announcement, the admit card, the answer key and the result carry no date in the bulletin, and this page does not invent one.
  • Any university's own admission calendar. CUET has no central counselling, and the portals each run their own dates.
  • The next cycle. Until its bulletin exists the only honest version is a projection, and it lives on the timeline, labelled as one.
